Everbound Interactive LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates Bedtime Adventures. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. Bedtime Adventures is designed to be set up and controlled by a parent or legal guardian on behalf of their child. By using the app, you agree to the practices described here.
Everbound Interactive LLC publishes multiple applications. This Privacy Policy applies only to Bedtime Adventures. Our other apps are governed by their own privacy policies.
Parent account. Your email address (for sign-in and account recovery) and a 4-digit parent PIN, which we store only as a one-way bcrypt hash — we cannot recover or read your PIN.
Child profile.A first name (or nickname) and an avatar you choose, a hero-appearance preference (Boy, Girl, or Either) used only to select which illustration set a story shows — a creative choice about the story's hero, not information about your child — plus the content settings you configure (e.g., “no scary content”), preferred story language, daily story limit, and bedtime schedule. This information is entered by you, the parent — never collected from the child directly, and never used for advertising or shared with third parties.
Stories and choices.The themes selected, hero names used, the story text and images generated, the choices made during each story, and completion status. This lets the app remember your child's adventures and show them in your library.
Usage analytics.First-party event records (e.g., “story started,” “story completed,” “choice made”) tied to your account, used to understand which features are valuable and improve the app. These are stored in our own database — we do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any third-party analytics SDK.
Subscription status. If you subscribe, your subscription tier and renewal dates, and an identifier from our payments partner (RevenueCat). We never receive or store your full payment card details — those are handled by Apple, Google, and RevenueCat.
Push notification tokens. If you enable bedtime reminders, a device push token so we can send the reminder you asked for.
Content reports. If you report a story, the story identifier and any note you write.
Server logs. Standard technical logs (IP address, request time, error diagnostics) used to operate the service, prevent abuse, and debug problems. IP addresses are used transiently for rate-limiting and are not used to build a profile of you.
Information stored on your device.Some information is kept locally in your device's browser storage and is never transmitted to us: your display and audio preferences, and counters we use to decide when to show the App Store rating prompt. Clearing your browser data or uninstalling the app removes these.
We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell or rent it. (See section 5.)
Most stories in Bedtime Adventures are generated by artificial intelligence at the moment you create them. To generate a story, we send the hero name and theme you chose (and the choices made during the story) to Anthropic (“Claude”) to produce the story text, and we send scene descriptions to fal.ai to produce the accompanying images. These providers process this information only to generate your story and do not use it to train their models or for advertising. We do not send your email, your child's profile settings, or any account identifiers to these providers.
Pre-written stories. The app also includes a library of pre-written stories bundled with the app itself. Reading these sends nothing to our AI providers — the stories are already complete. When your device is online, finishing a pre-written story is recorded to your account so it appears in your library.
Bedtime Adventures is intended to be operated by a parent or legal guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. Account creation, the parent PIN, the child's profile, and all settings are established and controlled by the parent.
Before any child-facing content is available, a parent must verify their email and grant consent. The child's first name and avatar are provided by the parent and are used solely to personalize stories. We do not display behavioral advertising, we do not use third-party analytics or advertising SDKs, and we do not enable any feature that lets a child communicate with other users or share information publicly without the parent initiating it.
If you believe a child has provided us information without parental consent, contact us at contact@everboundinteractive.com and we will delete it promptly.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information — ever. We share data only with the service providers below, each bound by a data processing agreement and permitted to use the data only to provide their service to us:
We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Everbound Interactive LLC, our users, or the public.
We are based in the United States and our service providers primarily process data in the United States. If you access Bedtime Adventures from outside the United States — including the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland — your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States. Where required, these transfers are made under appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
We keep your information only as long as needed to provide the service:
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from the parent dashboard, or by emailing contact@everboundinteractive.com. Account deletion removes your account, your child's profile, and all story history. We will complete deletion requests within 30 days.
Everyone. You have the right to access a copy of the data we hold about you, correct inaccurate data, delete your data, and withdraw consent at any time.
California residents (CCPA/CPRA). You have the right to know what we collect and why, to delete it, to correct it, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for targeted advertising — which is not applicable here, because we never sell or share data for advertising. You also have the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights, and you may use an authorized agent. Because Bedtime Adventures is operated by parents, requests are made by the account-holding parent.
EEA, UK, and Switzerland residents (GDPR/UK GDPR). The data controller is Everbound Interactive LLC. Our legal bases are your consent and the performance of our contract to provide the service. You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability, and objection, and the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

We use only the functional cookies and local storage necessary for the app to work (for example, keeping you signed in and remembering your settings). We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, cross-site trackers, or third-party analytics. We do not serve ads.
We protect your information with encrypted connections (HTTPS), one-way bcrypt hashing of parent PINs, row-level security on our database so each account can only access its own data, and service-role isolation that keeps sensitive operations off the client. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions.
We may update this Privacy Policy as the service evolves. When we make material changes, we will revise the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, notify account holders by email. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
